French knots.
I discovered a whole new dimension with them.
A person crazed by them.. mmm, ahem.....that would be me!
I named this one Genesis.
Couldn't make up my mind whether to use it as a pendant or a brooch, so decided it should be both, i.e. depending on my mood.
With the insertion of a pin behind, it easily transforms into a brooch.
you're right, those french knots all together are lovely! it never would've occured to me to use them like that. :) lisa
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. Best, Antje
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pendant. I love the colour combination and the look of French knots clustered together (so many applications), sadly mine never look as nice as yours Maya.
ReplyDeleteAwww it's really cute. The knots looks like flower when it's all together. I want it so bad!
ReplyDeleteVery cute.I have to sadly admit I never learned how to make French knots though.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely pendant!
ReplyDeleteand so many options...
Love it!
ReplyDeleteIf you have the french knot craze, you have to check out her stuff: www.caseyannwasniewski.com .....she piles french knots on top of each other until they start creating these massive undulating sculptures. Very cool. I tried experimenting with similar thinking I could make a cool bracelet but never got past 100 knots. Sigh.
