Moonlight flowers necklace

This is my Anthropologie inspired necklace.
I quite enjoyed making it, especially the flowers which are combination of dark purple organza and the silver taffeta.

I have several meters of this silver taffeta and love making accessories with it because it does brighten up clothing with the shine the fabric has and makes a nice effect.

  1. ohhh I really like this colour combination! Did you make this the same way as your carnation tutorial on Burdastyle?

  3. Lovely one. I love "jewelry" made from unusual materials, I prefer that to fancy stones and expensive metals myself.

  4. Thank you my dears!
DeniseAngela: the carnation is made the same as in the tutorial. Can you believe I made a ton?!
Clara: I was just telling my husband how lucky he is for not having a wife crazed and obsessed with diamonds and other precious stones (that was when he rolled his eyes out at the amount of "fabric jewelery" piling on my desk with the meaning "NOT ANOTHER ONE!!!").

  5. Ooops! DeniseAngela I made a mistake. I thought you were referring to my carnation necklace. No, these flowers were not made the same way, sorry. I am preparing a tutorial for these. It's quite simplistic! Stay tuned!
