Another gift "wrapping / holding" idea. Sewn clutches. The project is ridiculously easy and quick and yet it is a sweet touch in sense of "wrapping". I send out my crochet necklaces in clutches usually made from remnants. If you remember I had a dress made out of this particular silk fabric this summer. The design of the clutch certainly complements the color choice of the necklaces.
In line with the above, if the recipient likes it, she can use it for other purposes instead of using it as a "keeping /storing case".
This is a gorgeous, thoughtful and very memorable way to wrap what you send out. I wouldn't soon forget a shop that sent me such a pretty package!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! This additional personal touch makes your item/gifts so much more special! Great idea.
ReplyDelete{sigh} this is really so beautiful again Maya. Love this fabric, since it's so wonderfully colourful. If you wrap everything up so prettily I can only imagine that you must have some very very pleased and satisfied customers indeed! Hugs, Ira
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric too! This wrap idea is a great use of small pieces and the fabric coordinates with the crochet yarn perfectly. You have been so busy making truly beautiful items.

that's lovely, maya, and a beautiful way to package your amazing work! plus i love that it can be reused again. this makes me think of furoshiki, in the sense that it's a cloth gift wrapping that is meant to be used over and over. :) lisa
