I cannot tell you how giddy I am for making my blog button. For a wonderful giveaway I am going to participate in soon I had to make a button for my shop. Having previously (unsuccessfully) tried to make one and finding the instructions I googled gibberish, I gave up the job on several occasions. That is until I found out this lovely lady's tutorial {Thank you Susan!}. And I made it in like 5 minutes. Seriously. It was that easy!
So of course, I had to make one for my blog as well. For this one I used an image I already had on the lap top but I am sure I will be experimenting with blog buttons a lot from now on.
Have a lovely Saturday!
Oh I love it! It's so you!!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the link!
Have an wonderful Sunday!
Love your button. I have a question though .. When I have copied other people's buttons to promote their giveaways I have just copied the top version and not the written code. I take it into my downloads and then upload it from there. Is there a specific reason for the written code to be published on a blog, is it something to do with being on windows, and that I can do the first method because I'm on Mac?

Oh, Kate I don't think I am the person to answer that. I really wouldn't know.
ReplyDeleteI use windows and I have always copied the written code to apply it on my sidebar (and I have a lot of buttons there:), so maybe, maybe the reason is that you are on Mac and that's why you used the mentioned method. Maybe somebody more experienced would offer explanation here?
Well done Maya, it suits you more than perfect!
