Crocheted lace necklace {vintage style}

The best way for me to relax, and I believe every crocheter would agree with this, is with a yarn and a hook. This holiday was no exception and I went fully prepared. I enjoyed working on numerous projects most of which were inspired by past eras and vintage things. And were made for the shop for the upcoming fall.

For this necklace I used (bought) lace as the foundation onto which I attached the crocheted black lace edging. The flower is added to ward off monotony and add cuteness. The center of the rose contains pieces of lace which flare a bit and add up to shabby chicness.

  1. first of all, I love that you bring your yarn and hook on holiday! Second that piece is gorgeous, beautiful way to incorporate a small piece in a very special way -black and white is such a classic combination.
