We've been witnessing a gradual drop of temperatures for the weekend and today I put my cardigan on for the first time in the last several months. I am a bit sad for the end of summer (when the school starts it seems like flying away) but I think I am ready for some warmer clothes and accessories. Maybe that's because I've been working on some woolen shrugs and cardigans and was completely immersed in fall/winter themes.
This neck piece was made using a variation of my favourite Irish rose and I really like the protruding petals which make this necklace to have a fabulous texture.
Have a lovely start of the week!
Gorgeous! I love the colours and the double layer effect. It's getting cold here too, it froze last night :( So sad to see summer end. Winter does mean lots of crafting though! Thanks so much for linking up at Etcetorize this week~

ReplyDeleteBeautiful work and photo shoot,as well grey is one of my favourite colours on children and so underused. Lovely piece, completely agree with Ira's comment, above, you are crochet royalty. We are also experiencing a night and early morning drop in temperatures, but sunny skies during the day. I love September.
