There is nothing more beautiful and memorable than a warm and handmade Christmas. So this year I thought it would be nice if I could start a bit early and avoid the last minute, pre-Christmas madness I always seem to inevitably fall into by burdening myself with too many projects.
I used three different patterns for the big snowflakes and quite a simple one for the small ones. And I made them in baby blue and different shades of grey. No whites this time (except one tiny). For the whites I am saving one gorgeous and exquisite pattern.
Have you started your Christmas crafting?
P.S I've made some for the shop too.
Hi, Maya
ReplyDeleteI love this idea for Christmas. How lovely and sweet your Christmas decor is going to be this year. Have a lovely week.

These are absolutely LOVELY! I adore all things snowflake related (it's "my" special Christmas symbol - everyone in my family has their favorite: reindeer, stars etc). You are really talented! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful, and would carry over past Christmas into icy January - to wear as a brooch or appliqué to a scarf would be pretty too.
ReplyDeleteI love crocheted snowflakes! Every year I plan to make some but... I never have time!!!
ReplyDeleteThey would look gorgeous on the Christmas tree! I'd love them white and with glitters spread all over, maybe this year I'll find the time... :)
Oh how wonderful your snowflakes are Maya, you've certainly picked the right colours for them and the shapes! They're just amazingly beautiful, I'm once again totally impressed with your skills!
