I have been crocheting this blanket for quite a while now, working on it whenever I spare an hour or two, and it is a present for a newborn baby boy. The Ripple Pattern {or the Chevron pattern if you want to sound 'fancy'} is easy in spite of its complicated looks and for this one I decided to use a palette of blues and greys. On a whim I decided to make the center part light blue, although my first idea was to make it in all 4 colors. I think it'll be less chaotic for a little baby and the colorful part makes for a great border. I still don't know what I am going to do with the edging, but I guess I'll figure it out when the time comes.
