Well, I just couldn't go lightly over the topic of chokers, so I made a pattern for a crocheted one. I you missed my last post we talked about chokers and their comeback.
The history of the choker dates back thousands of years ago, to the world’s earliest civilizations, the Sumer Empire in Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt. Women in both these ancient worlds wore
chokers, often pairing them with other necklaces, for the same reason they wore all jewellery-to protect them and give them power. What left a great mark in the Victorian period and conquered the fashion scene once again in the 1990s had a fantastic comeback.
