I cannot believe that I missed one of these posts in January! I had to check my posts plan, and yes - it is there, but I actually didn't make it.
So after a little, unplanned break, here we go again.
This is a lovely idea how to use big grannies and turn them into a cardigan. I love the whole piece, but the sleeves are gorgeous.
Kirsten has offered this mind blowing blanket pattern for free. What an amazing one it is!
Speaking of hexagons, this lovely bag happened in my feed. Such a great sight for sore eyes, and certainly a must have for the upcoming spring.
I haven't mentioned before, but I tried my hand at C2C crochet. I just made a tiny piece just to see what it looks like, and let me tell you it looks like lots of fun. This particular blanket itches you to try it too, if you haven't already.
Enjoy your Sunday!
Haven't done any C2C yet. tried it once, but it didn't work out well. Last year Caroline of the Purple Poncho made a really good tutorial and ever since, I've been wanting to make a C2C project. Too much on my to-do-list though...
ReplyDeleteJust like Marjan I've tried the c2c technique once but it wasn't really my thing. I do like to 'draw' with yarn, but I prefer to make drawings in rows of single crochets, or with the tapestry technique.
ReplyDeleteThat blouse or cardigan looks so special! It looks really difficult to make at first sight, but if you look closer it must be manageable. Lovely combination of crochet and fabric (or are those sleeves crocheted as well??), the perfect challenge for you? :-)
The cardigan is amazing. Oh how I would love to have one of these in my wardrobe. Love the hexagon bag, too, but then I would, wouldn't I. Lovely pins, Maya.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning cardigan. I'd love to give each and every one of these projects a try.
