I have a huge collection of scarves. And when I say huge I am not exaggerating. But there is just one crochet kerchief in all that enormous collection that my mom made herself and wore it as a scarf and a head wrap. So I wanted to make a couple of crochet headband / head ties that we will use for our bohemian photo shoots.
This one is a piece of cake, works up fast and it's handy when your hair is messy and you need the right accessory to tame it down. The pattern that goes along step by step photos is here and here.
I think dots are perfect to cheer one up and this color looks amazing on brown hair! And a quick project is exactly what we need in summertime!
ReplyDeletePS: What a beautiful surrounding to take photos!
I became obsessed with dots :)
DeleteAnd I think this is not the last time I'm going to use them.
It looks very chic and has the perfect colour theme for a summer look.
ReplyDeleteThank you Alhana!
DeleteWhen I was 10 or 12, I used to make my own headbands. Not as pretty as this one, far off, but your headband reminded me of that… Maybe I should make myself a new one…
ReplyDeleteSummers being scorching here, I am making a similar one for myself :)
DeleteMaya, this is such a lovely ensemble - I love the colour and the dots.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kate! I chose the yarn to match the blouse and they fit perfectly.
