These are the lariats I made for my Little Women Collection - there were 4 originally, but two didn't make the cut. I literally had no time to finish them for the photo-shoot and both being half done, I guess I'll leave them for another occasion.
The first one features chunky yarn lariat for which I designed a beautiful and easy-to-crochet pattern that also works up fast. I made vines to hang at the edges and decorated it with different sizes and patterns of roses strategically positioned to give richness to the whole piece. I have it in my shop here.
This is the lariat I have already shown a couple of weeks ago.
You can find more about it here.
Both lariats are lovely, Maya. I love how they rest beautifully against a winter jacket, adding pretty colour and texture.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kim! Lariats especially cotton ones are great - you can wear them in both winter and spring :)
DeleteThe pink shades pop out against the dark winter clothes beautifully, perfect to remind us that spring is just around the corner. Hope you have time to finish the other two lariats too.
ReplyDeleteWell, I might leave them for next winter because in a week or two I am starting work om my spring/summer collection :)
DeleteYou made pretty lariats and they look nice with the dark coat. Your daughter looks like she could be in the little women movie.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet of you Julie! Thank you!
DeleteI love how your daughter has it wrapped around (in the bottom photo) - quite eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kate! Their length allows one to play with them in lots if different ways!
DeleteDear Maya, it's always a pleasure to come back to your blog: a lot of inspiration from your beautiful projects.
ReplyDeleteI love the two lariats and the shades of pink over the black jacket.
My best wishes, Dalila

DeleteIt's really so pretty and I absolutely love the photos you've taken with your beautiful model.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tammy! The shoot was quite fun! We gathered the old people of the village. One asked us if we are from a theatre group... lol. We had a good laugh at that one..
DeleteBeautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tina!
