Taking It Slow

As the measures were easened, we used the weekend to go out in nature and truth be told - we felt alive again!
It is amazing how this isolation made Earth breathe again, at a slower pace and with the biggest impact. Seeing nature flourish was a satisfaction beyond measure. I didn't take my camera with me, wishing to completely surrender to all the bliss nature offers, but I did snap lots of pictures with my phone - mostly of flowers I am crazy about, as you already know, so now with a click on my phone, I can be transported back to this fabulous weekend and elevate my spirits, regardless of what the day brings.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend too!

  1. Wow! Maya what a beautiful place to see and visit. You took such beautiful photos with your phone. I love the castle in the background and the water and flowers. I would feel alive if I was there too. Hope you have a nice week Maya.

  3. There is just something about flowers, isn't there. Oh, those red poppies overlooking the sea and the little path meandering through all the pretty bushes.....looks rather like heaven,if you ask me. How wonderful you were able to enjoy the beauty of nature on such a perfect spring day. Gorgeous photos!

    1. Thank you Kim. I am simply bedazzled when I find myself in a medow sprinkled with flowers. They do elevate my soul :)
The body in water stealing away in the pictures is Ohrid lake. A magical place in literal sense of the word :)

  4. Those photographs are beautiful and serene. They would make great subjects for jigsaw puzzles. How lovely that you were able to get out and about. Your post is 'a breath of fresh air' to read, as I'm sure it was for you, literally, to be near the lake and out in nature again.
