I have been working on my baby collection for 2 months now and whenever I feel exhausted with work or frustrated for not having more than 2 arms, I just look at my happy pile of baby stuff I made and I forget about everything in an instant.
This is my latest finished dress I named Violet.
I made it using a soft lavender sport yarn (Phildar yarn) and a pattern that gives it an interesting texture. It cinches at the upper part and when I added the flowers to it - well, it was a love at first sight. I even got tickled by the idea to make an adult version of this one.
The pattern is here.
Such a beautiful dress! I love the flowers!
ReplyDeleteThank you,T'onna! I love how the flowers pop up and make the dress more vivacious :)
DeleteThat is so sweet! It makes you want to be a small girl again :-D
ReplyDeleteIt really does Cat! When I finished and swa how cute it is, wished to make an adult version, lol
DeleteI'm sorry? I don't see the pattern of this beautiful dress? I want to start to make this dress right now.

ReplyDeleteIt really was Kate! I have always wanted to make kids clothes and in the past I sewed and refashioned clothes for my kids, but not many crocheted or knitted ones. Now, I am enjoying every single minute of working on them.
DeleteThis crocheted baby dress is just beautiful and I love the color of the dress.
