Youtube, anyone?

I have been toying with the idea of starting a youtube channel for quite some time. To correct myself, I do have one set up, and it has just one video, which is a visual catalogue for the Treasure Box jewelry collection. But I want to turn it into a crochet visual journal/workshop, where I would post my crochet patterns, DIY, crochet inspiration, jewelry / accessories assemblages, etc.

I was also going to post a poll on this, but I found out to my dismay, that Blogger has removed that option, so I would appreciate your comments / ideas / suggestions in the comment box below. Do you watch youtube videos? What would you like to see there from me? Thank you!

If you are a subscriber, there will be a poll in today's newsletter, so please share your suggestions there.

I am never replacing my blog with youtube, but I believe it might be benefitial if I had a visual tool to aid the written patterns.

  3. I am blogger and prefer blogs to any other medium. But that is just me. If you feel conflicted about videos, why don't you try posting shorted videos on IGTV and if you feel that it works for you move to Youtube for even longer videos.

    1. Well, however conflicting this may sound, I am not keen on IGTV. Ever since etsy announced having a surge of sales with sellers that posted videos with their listings, I've been inclined to delve into that, also it is a way to increase audience, so that's why I am opting for youtube.

  4. I don't watch youtube videos, not because I don't like them, there just isn't enough time. I like how you always come up with new ideas.

  9. Although I prefer reading blogs over anything else, I feel comfortable with videos as long as they have subtitles. They can be a great companion for us crafters while we are working.
