Outlander Style as Inspiration

Have you watched the Outlander?

I love watching historical dramas mainly because of my love for history itself and my passion for vintage clothing, the accent always mainly on the Victorian fashion. However, I have never watched the Outlander series, although I am aware it has been going on for quite a while, and since I am on a hiatus from work, I plan to catch up on the series.

When planning my crochet designs for the winter 2021, I kept true to myself and  continued what I started last winter with the Little Women serving as continued inspiration, with shawls, capes and capelets, warmers and shrug being the core of my next small collection. This one differs to a great extent from the last because, as I've already mentioned in this post, it captures and focuses more on the woodland / mori spirit.

I have heard so much about outlander but I have not yet watched it. Yes, Victorian period is fascinating for me as well particularly because of all the Indian and Chinese influence on European fashion. You should watch Victoria, a British TV series to see all the lace collars and edgings. You might get a lot of ideas from it.
