Gifted Crochet Treasures - a series

Recently, an older lady living near my yarn shop, came with a bag filled with tons of crochet work and asked if I will be willing to take everything as a gift. I nearly fainted!
I cannot tell you how I love these spiderweb-like lace crochet. I, myself, have tons of the ones my gran made for me, but still, I couldn't say no to such a generous gift!
The bag contains from little doilies, to runners and small tablecloths. A very small portion is stained from the tooth of time, but none of these is used.
I think it would be sad if no one enjoyed these, so I am making a mini series where I will show each end every one in a post.
Stay tuned!

How lucky you are to have that bag donated to you and filled with all of that beautiful crochet work.

I also got a collection like that from my neighbour. I still use them for my flower pots.

What an amazing gift! I imagine that I would be seeing apparel, accessories and jewellery that you would make out of them.
