Crochet coral reef

Hello and welcome to see my crochet reef. It is slowly growing right there on the table. Its dimensions are not intimidating yet. I do not promise it'll stay like this, because right now crochet flowers are coming out of my ears.

Another thing. The best way to discover and learn new things is by mistake. You miss a stitch or just add an extra loop or stitch and there you go. Another new flower. The word 'errata' does not exist in my vocabulary. Instead it is replaced by the phrase "the never threaded road to something amazing". And when I see how beautiful it is I cannot stop with just one or two. I have to have them in every color I have in my stash. But you already know that :)

Hi, Maya

You have a great collection! Just love all the colors and textures. Just beautiful! I am still teaching myself how to crochet. It really is a work of art to me. Love the balls too. They would be nice on a necklace. Lovely!

Ah amazing! You make me want to get out my crochet hook and just start freestyling flowers.

The reef is just a treasure to look at. I love the look of the white, beige and pale blue - all that texture! Your sea influences are so strong and your projects would make such a wonderful book.

I love how you have chosen to celebrate crochet "mistakes" and see what they turn into. Love your crochet reef.

OH! NOW ISN'T THIS JUST DARLING????

Fabulous ideas and sweet sentiment are what I SO LoVe about blogs like this. I so wish I had more time to do handcrafts, but as I prepare my Etsy shop for my drawings, I am having to really pick and choose what I do. But if I wasn't a busy school teacher, I would love to learn to make these!

Thank you for your visit! Anita
