Crocheted flower appliques
Hello.
I don't know about you, but for me the middle of the week came quite fast.
And since we are having a holiday on Friday I am almost ecstatic of having a prolonged weekend.
The flower appliques ornamenting this post are the result of destashing the crochet garden being currently out of control and I am slowly putting them into the shop, so if you are interested in some you can buy them here.
Summer is getting near!! Are you excited?

Lazy Sunday crafting - Flower crocheted bracelet
After having two working Saturdays in a row I was planning on having a full, work free / craft free / lazying around the house weekend. But no, it didn't happen. I assembled a few brooches and this lovely bracelet for a young lady who is in love with my flowers and the color blue.
Amazingly it reminds me of a blue sea and long, white sandy beaches. While on that topic, our summer holiday being long booked, I cannot wait to pack up and go.
However, as I am still here, I'll be clogging your feeds with my crochets.
Hope you don't mind :)

My first blog button
I cannot tell you how giddy I am for making my blog button. For a wonderful giveaway I am going to participate in soon I had to make a button for my shop. Having previously (unsuccessfully) tried to make one and finding the instructions I googled gibberish, I gave up the job on several occasions. That is until I found out this lovely lady's tutorial {Thank you Susan!}. And I made it in like 5 minutes. Seriously. It was that easy!
So of course, I had to make one for my blog as well. For this one I used an image I already had on the lap top but I am sure I will be experimenting with blog buttons a lot from now on.
Have a lovely Saturday!

Bead rings in crochet
My crafting is seriously threatening to endanger our living (and breathing) space. Although I try to have all crocheted pieces sorted into designated bags, you can always find some that escaped and are scattered about. Another problem is that I make multiple projects at a time. My head is swarming with ideas. I draw my idea into my sketch book, make the necessary crocheted things and before I get to finish it I am onto something else. I hate that. And that is because I cannot bring myself to the final step - assembly. I'd rather pay somebody to do that instead of me.
The rings from this post for example. I made the first one almost a year ago. And I have beads in tons - for necklaces and rings, but I finally stitched these a couple of days ago.
Next, I am set on finishing the (bloom) brooches soon, so that I can continue working on my crochet bag. It is coming along pretty nicely.

Byzantine purple for the hands
It seems that I cannot escape from romantic, lace crochets and cuffs for that matter, hence here's another crocheted bracelet. It is a perfect match with my Syracuse dress I am so proud of and love it fiercely since the first day I made it.
The bracelet comes in two colors: byzantine purple and orange and features a lovely lace-like flower.

White lacey headband
We have been putting up with a lot of weather tantrums lately, the latest being stormy and rainy moods which do not go in favour of our photo shooting sessions (unfortunately); so please do not mind the bad quality of the photos. We really tried to do our best.
This time I tried connecting flower motifs into a headband and I think it turned out fabulously. The puffy stitch of the flowers really makes the headband rich, don't you agree?
I hope you are not tired of these because I have more to show.
Have a great week!

Sea green lacey headband
It's all been headbands in this household lately which are amongst the most wanted accessories, and they prove to be both a necessity and adornment.
The color of this one is sea green although my monitor distorts the color and doesn't capture its true glorious color. The repetitive pattern is quite catchy and looks great although I cannot neglect the flowers as the perfect detail to break up the monotony of it.
Tomorrow is reserved for something white.
Until then.

Grannies on the road 2
"Once upon a time, there were three grannies with adventurous spirits. Eager to see the world and learn new things, they packed up and took off. "
My newest necklace. The successor of this one.

Granny Squares Revisited
Well, I can't believe that I haven't made a single granny for more than a year now. Tried to remember the last project I did, but couldn't.
I suddenly got inspired to make some and try something I haven't done before and I sincerely hope I don't get distracted and make this granny square project soon.
Pictures showing color combinations I tried.
Talk to you soon.
