Being a crochet flower obsessed person, I never waste a good crocheted flower if I can find a way to incorporate it into my jewelry. So whenever the amount of flowers starts pouring out of the box it is time to put them to a good use.
Some of these are old but "upgraded" - with a layer of crochet petals or a whimsy touch of embroidery to match their fabric-buttoned hearts.
They are chunky, quirky and never fail to draw attention, or so I am told. I have a pattern for crocheted rings if you are into making some whimsical ones yourself.

They are beautiful! Would be a waste to let them in the box! I have a similar box in the studio too. In there are all those grannies, flowers, leaves, butterflies, etc. I "just" made or are "leftovers". One never knows when they might come in hand...
Have a lovely weekend,
Marjan
Lovely! They have a soft worn in feeling to them that adds so much character and charm
These are so sweet, I love the covered button in the centre too.
Haha... I don't doubt that every self-respecting crocheter has more than one such crochet boxes :)
Sweetvif you Divya! Thank you!
Thank you Julia. I used two (or was it three) of my vintage upholstery leftover pieces for the covered buttons.
These are pretty, Maya. Love the covered button in the middle. I could imagine a beautiful necklace, fashioned by you, using these pretties.
Oh I love these Maya. I'm a little obsessed with unusual, chunky rings and these fit the bill just perfectly. Such a great idea.
You always make the sweetest things. I love the rings!
These rings are sweet indeed. And I've read back to all the posts I've missed - how do you get so much done?
