Our lives got turned upside-down, but we are glad she is alive. We are currently in Athens with her, where she is getting treated. She is healing slowly, but steadily.

That must have been scary. i hope she is better soon and that you all find a way to deal with this trauma!
Thank you Mieke! Terrifying, but we are going to make it. We have to, we will and we are going to celebrate the second chance of life she's been given. God bless!
