What should have been a flower granny cardigan, turned into a cropped top.
I named this Leilani after the beautiful 3D flowers, gently popping up. Flower grannies have always been my weakness, and I never grow tired of designing new ones.
For the top I used a cotton blend that is so soft and pleasant, and works like butter.
For the flowers and a couple of rounds of the granny stripe, I used a brand that is (sadly!) discontinued, but the yarn Camilla Batik can jump right in as a substitute, while for the framing color I chose my favourite yarn - Madame Cotton.
The pattern for this top is in my shops: ravelry, lovecrafts.

Aw, I love this. Beautiful 😊
That is beautiful! It reminds me a bit of a cardigan I used to have when I was in high school (though mine was all white and didn't have all those pretty colors!).
Qué diseño tan bonito Maya, la combinación de colores me encanta!
Muy guapa la modelo 😊
Has empezado el año con proyectos muy interesantes.

Thank you, Stephanie! 😊
Gracias, MJ! I hope this to be an enchanted year of crochet. The model is my niece Mila. She did a nice job, bless her heart! Xoxo
Aw, that is so nice, Joanne! We are 5 girls / cousins on my father's side, and I being the oldest, always gave the knit and crochet cardies to the others, and was left with just a few. Those are sweet memories and I wish I had more because all were made by my grandma whom I miss terribly. Even after all these years...
Thank you, Julie!
Thank you, Amalia! My thoughts exactly! Happy February! xo
