Did you know that I love crocheting beads? Well, I do.
It's a bit of a tiring job since I tend to use a small needle but when finished they bring instant satisfaction.
Sometimes I use wooden beads, other times I like to stuff it with filling because that way I can manipulate the size of the bead.
The above shown is the Cordovan crochet necklace having an Irish rose as a focal point.
Have a lovely day!

You never cease to amaze me with your gorgeous crochet creations Maya! You're so adept! Fabulous, as always!
so feminine, the color also! you could try covering thread spools too, I guess I'm going to try that next, probably in fabric!
Very beautiful piece - love what you're doing with beadwork. What's the yarn that you used for this one? It looks similar to something I've used in the past but I can't pinpoint it.
Kathryn - the yarn I used is "Violet" - (that's the brand's name not the hue of the color). It's 100% Egyptian cotton.
So beautiful.....love your design & colour!
Hi,
This jewellery is so beautiful, the necklace is classy enough to wear with on any occasion, all these are with attractive designs. Thanks a lot.
Really lovely.
Really beautiful!
Nice! I love the Irish rose!
Beautiful! I love the color of the yarn.
It's beautiful. I didn't know you could crochet around beads. Mmmm really wish there were enough hours in the day to pick up another crafty hobby.
I wanted to let you know that I "borrowed" one of the girls necklaces and wore it to Lily's Dance Recital on Saturday evening. Everyone was oohing and aweing over it. Lily was proud to say that my mum borrowed it from me.
Gorgeous piece.
These are gorgeous!!!! Thanks for sharing!
I love the beads, Maya. Gorgeous!
