Mary Janes for a newborn

About ten days ago I became a proud aunt of the sweet Ena. I haven't seen my little princess in person yet, because my sister decided to have her while we are still on vacation.

Upon the reception of the news I immediately made this cute Mary Janes. In the photos they look big while in fact they are as big as my forefinger. I wanted to add more flowers but I knew they would look ridiculous as such so I left just one flower.

They go beautifully with this gorgeous dress.

We had a shopping spree day in Thessaloniki and I bought several things for her (I just couldn't restrain myself)!

Baby leggings .. awhhh....
I am planning to sew and knit more clothes for her, but I want to make them for the upcoming autumn and winter. Babies grow so fast...do you remember moms?

I certainly do remember and I also know how addictive it is buying clothes for babies. Thank goodness for knitting and sewing! Your gifts will go down a treat, especially those darling little shoes. Soooo cute!

Congratulations to you auntie Maya! You must be dying to see your little niece! I really love what you made for the little girl, super cute shoes and yes, when it comes down to buying cute stuff for sweet babies, your hands feel like glue, somehow everything seems to stick on them, lol!
