Winter knits

I knit this sweater 20 years ago. I can't believe myself how ancient that sounds and I still remember knitting it - just as if I did that yesterday. This sweater still resides in my wardrobe. I wear it but not that often, yet I don't have the heart to give it away. I made it with a huge help from a friend of my grandmother's who was masterful in deciphering knitting patterns. This one came from the Italian magazine "Rakam". At first I was intimidated by the intricate pattern which turned out to be quite easy once you got the hang of it.

These two were also considered, but they dropped off because both showed off too much cleavage for my taste. (Disclaimer: Although I may sound as a puritan to you - I am not :)

You can still easily wear that sweater in that particular colour Maya, I know I definitely would! It's all the rage again right now, knitting, so might as well wear it again ;-) By the way: I do love that yellow sweater, too, ok, it does show too much cleavage, but those flowers are to die for! Hugs, Ira
