Lollipop rings
Lollipops bring a lot of happy memories. Is there any more interesting way to celebrate love of life than with sweet, sugary discs. Who wouldn't be drawn to the attractiveness of the colorful world they offer. I know I would. They always remind me of beautiful sunny days and happy laughter.. of rides on the carousel with hearts full of songs...
However, having a lollipop on my finger will certainly make my day brighter!
I stitched the corks with DMC embroidery floss and they are attached to ordinary metal rings.
On another note, I am having an exciting giveaway this week. Just a tiny hint.
It is about dresses to die for. Be sure to drop by.

I love those rings. And the way you updated the necklace in your previous post. My cousin makes jewelry and sometimes takes things apart just to make something else depending on her mood or the colors she is wearing on any given day.
I wish I could say all the cleaning is done around here but that is something that never, ever happens. I am happy to have gotten some things done here in the tv room but there is still so much to do. Lots of organizing, but I'm just doing a little bit at a time. I don't want to spend my whole Spring Break cleaning. :)
Hope your week is great. Tammy
Oh, they look just like lollipops! This really is such a wonderful use of cork, do you have any problem with the needle bending when pushing it through? Your stitches are so perfect.
your lollipops make "delicious" rings too! the stacked embroidered discs make a great picture too. :)
KJ: the task isn't an easy one for sure, but the type of cork is special so I usually don't have trouble with the needle penetrating it!
Hi Maya!! I love your creative projects and I decided to give you the "Liebster blog award"!!!
