On my hooks: Ripple Baby Blanket

I have been crocheting this blanket for quite a while now, working on it whenever I spare an hour or two, and it is a present for a newborn baby boy. The Ripple Pattern {or the Chevron pattern if you want to sound 'fancy'} is easy in spite of its complicated looks and for this one I decided to use a palette of blues and greys. On a whim I decided to make the center part light blue, although my first idea was to make it in all 4 colors. I think it'll be less chaotic for a little baby and the colorful part makes for a great border. I still don't know what I am going to do with the edging, but I guess I'll figure it out when the time comes.

My goodness, that is so lovely. I really like the grey with the blue. Not something I would have thought worked together for baby. But I have to say it's fantastic.

It's beautiful Maya, my kind of baby blanket .. those colours are so restful and make a lovely change to the usual sky blues and reds.
I'm sure it'll be much appreciated.

Beautiful colors!! Do you sell this pattern? If not, can you say where to find it? The ripple that I've done for years is pointy and I love the wavy roundness of yours!
