Got a moustache?

Just when I thought that the moustache craze rocking the world has died down, after a sudden drop-down it raged once more in our household. Honestly, I cannot keep up with Eva's top list fashion accessories which changes with the speed of light and that she "must have 'em or she'll die, because everyone else has them" - which on another note is quite disturbing for me because even as a teenager I didn't strive to have "everything others had or did" and I guess I was a 'disappointment' to my mother because she could never say to me "if that and that jumped off a cliff..." Sorry Mom! OK - got carried away a bit!

So, we couldn't escape the moustache craze and I wasn't going to pay a fortune for a moustache necklace and I promised to make her. Because I haven't got any black felt in my stash, which would have been sooo much easier to make it with, I crocheted one. I am not very pleased with the form it gained and may work out more on the pattern. But, she is happy and once more calmness prevails in our household. At least, until the next whim!

Grow yourselves a fine moustache, will you?

Like you, I didn't much care about what anyone else was doing and didn't need what they had. I was my own person, never really fit into any group at school. The one time I did try to emulate someone as a senior, it backfired -- never did that again. :) The mustache necklace is cute. Best wishes, Tammy
