Decorating with Christmas Baubles

This year, having clothed our Christmas tree in reds and golds, we were left with many unused baubles and instead leaving them in the boxes, I used them (as centerpieces) to decorate places around the house.
For the dresser where I keep my icon I decided on a more traditional look and used red and gold baubles in combination with cones and acorns
This is more modern and it gets to decorate another corner.
The last one is reserved for the dining room table.

This is our first year to make so many centerpieces using Christmas baubles - we love how everything looks together so maybe this will turn into a nice tradition!

I also look how they look like as centerpieces. My favourite is your icon corner, traditional and warm. :-)

Have a very happy Christmas time!

I really like the dresser corner with a Byzantine style iconoclastic look and the gold accents. Its very classy with old school charm

I love your icon and how you decorated it in front of it. I like to set them up as little alters too. I have retablos which are Mexican sacred paintings, though I do have so little Greek icons on my tree. xoxo Su

Maya, I love all of your old ornaments and how you've displayed them!!! Mine always end up on our tree but a few times I have put them in my other grandmother's cut glass bowl atop greenery. That's how my mom would share them each year. Lovely!!!

Enjoy yours and I am happy to share your post at this week's Share Your Style #371 for you. <3

Happy Christmas decorating!
Barb :)
