"Olivia" - Crochet Top

The Modest Debonair part of my collection, besides jewelry and accessories, contains several tops one of which is this one I named "Olivia".

Olivia is a granny square top featuring a "skin peeking" design so it is good with a bikini top underneath or lining - although I went against it. I have never lined crochet tops and frankly, was not keen on any surprises lining may cause.  And neither was I ready to delve into an "unexplored realm" of crochet tops.

The interesting thing is that all my tops feature different patterns and motifs and the diversity made the work easier and more relaxing.

Fun fact: all pieces of the collection are named after actresses from the 1950s I loved as a child.

Oh wow Maya once again you have created such a beautiful crochet halter. Your daughter looks stunning in this. You make the prettiest creations with your crochet. :)

Thank you Julie! I would love to dedicate more time to crocheting clothes (tops and cardis tbh)but the time seems to be working against me :/
