Do you think it is still early to make Christmas ornaments? I think it is just about the right time :)
Today I have the perfect weekend project for you.
I saw this ornament with a wonderful idea behind it at nautikrallcrochet and absolutely loved it. She shares the free video for this pattern and asks makers that are going to sell the ornament to donate $1 from the sale of every ornament to onetreeplanted.org. So for every sold ornament - one tree will be planted. Isn't this amazing!
The pattern is a breeze and wonderfully explained. I made my ornaments in a matter of minutes. The only thing is that after I made the photos it occurred to me that I could have added small beads to the trees to make them more interesting.
I hope you like this and join the initiative! Happy weekend!

You crocheted such pretty ornaments Maya. This is the perfect time or even earlier to make some Christmas ornaments and crafts for Christmas.
I agree, Julie. Taking a nice pace in November rather than rushing to finish everything off and feeling stressed out and exhausted ;)
They are lovely, beads would be a great addition too.
I'm off to check out the pattern now, thanks.
