Crochet Bobble Bunting - pattern release

Let me show you my newest bunting! I have long wanted to make little bobbled flags and I am glad I finally made them. They are a kind of an introduction for my spring collection and there is another bunting in the design phase that'll keep this one company.

The pattern uses basic stitches with the exception of the spread bobble I used for the odd rows. The flags are not small; they measure 17 x 15 cm, but size can be customized by subtracting the rows. More about the technicalities in  my etsy shop.

Very pretty bunting flag banner, Maya. I've never seen one made with crochet and I love it!

1You are an amazing crocheter! Such even-sized stitches (something that's hard for me to achieve!).

Thanks so much for sharing this at our Party in Your PJs link party.

Your bobble bunting is lovely hanging in that little corner of your home, Maya. No doubt, celebrating springtime. I have always loved a pattern bobble, though in my case, knitted ones. Another clever pattern imagined by you.

Thank you Kim. I have always liked bobbles, but lately I have become rather obsessive with them, lol! Had this bobble bunting idea bubbling in my head for some time and just had to let it out :)

Bunting has something that screams spring and summer about it, don't you agree? I like the colours you chose for this piece and oh, the bobbles! They look perfect for it. Your creativity has no limits, Maya! :-)

Beautiful bunting. I love the bobble stitch, it adds such wonderful texture although it does really eat up the yarn doesn't it? !

Ever since my childhood I have associated buntings with celebrations, and they always evoke pleasant, happy memories, that's why I love them so much!

Maya Kuzman said...

Yes, it does Julie, but I don't regret spending yarn on it :)
