Happy Granny Square Day!

Aaah!! Granny squares!

The crocheters around the world celebrated the International Granny Square Day, and I loved seeing the mind-blowing array of grannies.  Though I didn't participate this year, I am working on a granny square collection for the upcoming autumn/winter!
The above beauty is called Lady of The Lake and it was kindly shared for free by wonderful Lisa Mauser.

Happy Granny Square Day, Maya! One of my favourites crochet activities is making grannies, there are so many designs and they are so beautiful. I didn't participate this year, as it's too hot to even hold the hook, but love seeing other crocheter's finished pieces. :-)

Yes! I am amazed how people got creative and turned simple grannies into artwork!
