Yarn storage rearranged

I have mentioned once or twice that we are renovating the place and it has taken quite a while for everything to be finished. We are near the end, thanks God. We are waiting for the last thing to be made and that would be the book cabinets.

However, with all the changes going on, I had to relocate my "studio" which was actually in a part of my dining room transformed for the post and that concerned the yarn cabinets. I wrote about them here. Well, we disjointed one of them and my husband put it on the wall in my new studio. This one is my favorite because it holds my cotton yarn (the other is reserved for the wool and acrylic) which I use to make my jewelries and other what-nots. I managed to sort this out today and was puzzled to see how certain colors prevailed others.

I love how they all look together and they give the room a special feeling when you walk in and see them like this.

It looks like a yarn store. Mine is in no way organized at all.

Thank you Tammy! It has less yarn than a shop but it is my small universe :)

Looks so yummy, like a candy store for crocheters :)very inviting and inspiring to create. I always envy folks who can display supplies like this in the open. Dust is a perennial problem in India, everything goes into poly bags, then boxes and then into cupboards, even then they get dusty

Thank you Divya. Open display has its drawbacks of course. I have to vacuum these every other day, but I don't mind because they always inpire me and infuse me with good and positive energy.

Last week I color coded my fabric cupboard - I thought I was going to die, but eventually managed to sort everything out.

Looks great - wish I had room in my sewing-knitting room for something like this.

I have a best friend who needs to see this. She has more yarn I have ever seen. I love the rainbow of colors.

Swoooooooooooooooooon!!! I have my yarn in assorted boxed and drawers around my apartment. I've thought of recycling gallon jugs of water and milk for yarn storage but never really got around to it.
