On the 15th of August, crocheters around the world celebrated the Granny Square Day. It was truly inspiring seeing all the grannies people shared on instragram, but I believe the all time winner was the literal granny on a square by Natalie.

I adore Granny Squares and the more the better. Just wished I could crochet. Isn't that granny on a square fun. I enjoyed revisiting all your pretty granny squares, Maya.
All such lovely projects. Grannies can be used in so many ways. I definitely love making traditional grannies whenever I can't decide what else to do. Have taken screenshots of the directions for the granny granny-square that was free for 24 hours. Now let's see if I actually attempt to make it. :)
