Crochet Projects for Your Leftover Yarn

Every crocheter faces the same problem. How to use those small balls of leftover yarn, and not simply throw them away. Here I am sharing some free/ paid patterns and ideas how to creatively use leftover yarn.
I always use them primarily for my jewelry. Such yarn is perfect for some flower rings, necklaces and brooches.

Also perfect to use to make appliques to beautify old pieces, whether clothes, or accessories. Or maybe add to blankets or cushions.  Try this cacti pattern, gerbera flowers or this idea of glamming up a T-shirt.

If you love a burst of color, you can mix them up to make granny square blankets, book covers, pom-poms, etc.

What kind of projects do you use your leftover yarn for?

Lovely ideas, I've been making flowers for an IG 100 day project with my scraps but normally I'm all about the granny square scrap blankets! I have already fallen WAY behind with my 100 day project but I'm choosing not to worry about that.

That is one super practical idea Shami!

Thank you Julie! I love folliwing IG projects, but could never take one up, because they never fit my blogging schedule. Of course you shouldn't worry - it's supposed to be fun!

I don't crochet, but some of my crafts call for yarn, so I do have a large stash of yarn. Thank you for sharing these unique ideas to use left over yarn.
Delighted you could join us at Meraki Link Party.
Much love
Naush

What lovely projects! I've pinned the book cover (I think it would work for a needle book, too) and the brooches. I know a couple people who would love either. And maybe if I start NOW I can get all my gifts completed for Christmas hahaha.

Well, Lydia getting gifts ready waaay before time is a great idea. We can even beat Christmas in July, lol. I believe we are all under pressure to finish gifts making in time for Christmas :) Thank you for the pin and the lovely comment! I appreciate you hosting every week! xx

How pretty, you're really talented at this. I've been working on afghans for my grandbabies and they're taking so long to complete them. Thanks so much for linking up with me at the Unlimited Monthly Link Party 22. Pinned!

Thank you Dee! Oh, how I would love to have time and dedicate myself on working on an afghan!! I hope you'll show us yours!

It is very time consuming, Maya. And, especially so if you're slow at crochet like I am. Are you familiar with the little boy named Jonah Larson? He is referred to as a crochet prodigy. Look him up at JonahHands.com and watch him on his YouTube channel Jonah's Hands. He's very inspirational and crochets the fastest of anyone I've ever seen!!

I know him, Dee. I follow him from time to time to catch up on his newest projects. My goodness, I would love to know what powers up his fingers!!! I want that too, lol!
