Sundays in Nature: Mt. Kozjak

It was such a great day today. We went to a nearby mountain called Kozjak. Breathtaking views of the lake at the foot of it and the meadows sprinkled with wild flowers are memorable and uplifting. Something that makes you come back here again and again.

A real cure for the soul. Just what we need to be able to go through the last week of school :)

The pictures from my phone do not give justice to the beautiful meadows. So many different flowers in all the colors imaginable and possible sprinkled everywhere. A sight worth a thousand words. I had to bring some of that heaven home.

We also harvested some fresh thyme which besides mint is the second most wanted tea in our household. We hope it will last throughout the summer.

And after a good and long walk, we saw a dirt road winding into the trees so we decided to follow it and at the end of it - and it was а dead end, it spread out into a huge, amazing clearing - the perfect spot for a future outing.

And with this I wish you all a pleasant Sunday evening!

Thank you Alhana! We don't take our cameras with us any more and rely on our phones. It is more beautiful when you see it in person!
